If you’re having trouble signing in, the information below explains how Canvas login and password resets work.
Important to know
You normally log in using a username.
This usually starts with a p followed by numbers (for example: p123456).Password resets use your email address, not your username.
This is normal behaviour in Canvas.
How to reset your Canvas password
Go to the Canvas login page:

On the password reset page, enter the email address you used during your application.
Even though you log in with a username, Canvas uses your email address to send password reset links.Check your email and follow the link to set a new password.

If you don’t receive the email
Check your junk or spam folder.
Make sure you entered the same email address you used when you applied.
If you still don’t receive the email, please contact us and we’ll help you regain access.
