Pathways & What’s Included
What NPQEL pathways can I choose?

Executive Leader Programme with NPQEL (apprenticeship route) – Includes NPQEL plus a Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship, additional monthly coaching, cross-sector leadership learning, and access to leadership tools/resources. Funded via the Apprenticeship Levy bestpracticenet.co.uk
Standalone NPQEL – The standard NPQEL with online study, coaching (6 hours), and in-person training days. bestpracticenet.co.uk
What’s the difference between the pathways at a glance?
Awards: Apprenticeship route = NPQEL + L7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship; standalone = NPQEL
Coaching: Apprenticeship route = monthly coaching; standalone = 6 hours total.
Study style & breadth: Apprenticeship route adds cross-sector leadership development and extra resources; standalone focuses on NPQEL content. bestpracticenet.co.uk
