- Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant
Step 1 - Register Interest and apply

Step 2 - Initial Screening Form and Call
Once your application has been received, you will Receive an email containing a an invite to complete an Initial Screening Form. This allows the placement team to start looking for an employer.
You will also receive a CV template, please complete this and send back to the placement team.
Step 3 - Finding an employer

Contact nurseries or schools in your area and look into their Vacancies page.
The placement team will contact settings within your desired travel distance. When a vacancy has been found, your CV will be sent to the employer for them to review.
Step 4 - Prepare for Interview/work trial
The apprenticeship route is highly competitive so when an opportunity arise for an interview its essential to be as prepared as possible.

If you are not successful at the interview, we shall support you in finding a new vacancy with additional interview support.
Step 5 - Do you need more experience?
- Ask us to refer you to our sister company Protocol Education who can support you with paid agency work whilst we look for an apprenticeship role.
- Volunteer in your local settings to make sure you get all the experience you need prior to your course
- Apply for unqualified practitioner roles in the meantime, to gain valuable experience.
