Your school’s induction tutor must register early career teachers (ECTs) and mentors for the Early Career Framework (ECF) via the Department for Education (DfE) online service. New schools or those changing to Best Practice Network (BPN) as lead provider must also register with BPN. Schools already working with BPN or moving ECTs into their second year do not need to re-register. BPN will contact ECTs and mentors to assign them to local training groups.
