What happens if your deferral goes past the ECF end date
The Department for Education (DfE) will cease funding the ECF programme after its end date and will fund only the new ECTP programme. Best Practice Network will not deliver the new ECTP programme.
If you are deferred and are unlikely to complete the ECF programme before delivery ends, it may be better to withdraw from the ECF programme and transfer to the new ECTP programme when you return.

Discuss your circumstances and the proposed withdrawal and transfer with your Appropriate Body. Then let Best Practice Network know how you wish to proceed.
