Most participants use Canvas as their virtual learning environment (VLE), while Initial Teacher Training participants use Mosaic. Apprenticeship participants use Bud to upload assessments and access School Suite via single sign-on. If login details are forgotten, users can request a new password from the Bud login screen.
The virtual learning environment (VLE) you use depends on your programme. Most participants use Canvas, Initial Teacher Training participants use Mosaic, and apprenticeship participants use Bud and School Suite.
Which VLE will most participants use?
Most participants access their learning materials through Canvas. Your Canvas username, password and login link are shown on the right-hand side of your participant dashboard.
Which VLE will Initial Teacher Training participants use?
If you are completing Initial Teacher Training, you will use Mosaic as your virtual learning environment.
Which VLE will apprenticeship participants use?
If you are completing an apprenticeship with Best Practice Network, your main virtual learning environment is Bud. You will upload your assessments and activities there.
Bud also gives you single sign-on access to School Suite, which is a separate platform from Canvas. Log in to Bud first and follow the link to School Suite.
If you cannot find the School Suite link in Bud, go directly to School Suite. You will be prompted to log in using your Bud details.
If you cannot remember your Bud login details, request a new password from the Bud login screen.
