Text Instructions
- The Discussion is a type of assignment where participants are encouraged to collaborate with each other on a certain topic.
- To view your group, click the People menu.
- Then click on Groups.
- Find the group with your name on it and click Visit.
- In your group click on the Discussion menu.
- You will see a list of discussions, click on the title to enter one.
- Once you are in, you will be able to view your participant’s posts and engage with them, by “liking” a post, replying to the post or by adding your own comments.
- Your participants will be able to engage with your posts in the same way.
- You will only be able to see the replies from people who are in your group.
- The Welcome Forum is the first discussion participants will come across. So as part of the workforce, you should go in and post a welcome message introducing yourself and also encourage your group to say hello.
- For any further discussions throughout the course, you should go in a stimulate the conversation to ensure the participants are engaging.
- On the right side of each discussion, it will also show the number of “unread” and “read” replies on that discussion. By clicking on the assignment that you would like to contribute to, you will be met with the task or discussion topic.
