Do you sponsor visas, and what right to work do I need?

Best Practice Network does not offer visa sponsorship. You must already have the right to work and study in the United Kingdom (UK), and your visa or immigration status must remain valid for the entire course.

If you are applying for an apprenticeship, you must also have held three years of continuous residency in the UK.

What evidence do UK and Irish citizens need?

To enrol, UK and Irish citizens will be asked to provide one of the following as evidence of their right to work and study:

• A valid UK or Irish passport.
• A birth or adoption certificate, plus an official document showing your National Insurance number.
• A certificate of naturalisation or registration as a British citizen.

What evidence do EU, EEA and Swiss citizens need?

European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Swiss citizens must provide a valid passport or national identity card. You must also provide:

• Proof of EU Settled Status or Pre-Settled Status using a share code.
• Evidence of continuous UK residence, if required.

What evidence do other non-UK citizens need?

Other non-UK citizens must provide a valid passport and one of the following:

• A Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) confirming permission to work and study.
• A Biometric Residence Card (BRC), where it is still valid.
• A visa vignette showing your immigration status.
• A Home Office share code proving your right to work and study.

Which visa types can be accepted?

The following common visa types can be accepted where they allow you to work and study:

• A Skilled Worker visa, if secondary study is permitted.
• A dependant visa.
• A Graduate visa.
• A UK Ancestry visa.
• Indefinite Leave to Remain or Settled Status.

Which visa types cannot be accepted?

Best Practice Network cannot accept:

• Visitor visas.
• Short-term study visas that do not permit work.
• Any visa that expires before the end of your course.
