Primary, SEND & Secondary ITT - Apprenticeship
Teacher apprenticeship is funded through the apprenticeship levy. Most schools pay into this. If they do not, your school will have to pay 5% (£450 + vat) of the training cost. Salary costs are not covered.
Secondary apprenticeship employers may be eligible for a grant of up to £29,000*, depending on the secondary subject the apprentice is studying.

Secondary ITT trainees who are not employed on the tuition fee based route, may be eligible for a bursary of up to £29,000*

EYITT
Early years training is fully funded by the Department for Education. If you are employed in a nursery, they may be eligible for a £7,000 incentive.
Early years ITT trainees who are not employed, with a 2.2 or above classification in their degree, may be eligible for a bursary grant of £2,000, £4,000 or £5,000.
