We offer initial teacher training (across early years 0-5, General Primary and SEND 3-7 and 5 to 11 alongside secondary in select subjects across the 11-16 age range).
All routes lead to teacher status (early years 0-5 leads to Early Years Teacher Status while General Primary, SEND and Secondary leads to Qualified Teacher Status).
Currently none of our teacher training programmes includes PGCE (postgraduate certificate in education). You do not need a PGCE to be a qualified teacher in England and typically attracts higher tuition fees to complete both a QTS and PGCE.
All mainstream schools require teachers to have QTS.
