To study Primary and Secondary ITT as a Teacher Apprenticeship, you must be already employed by a school, paid on the unqualified teacher pay scale and your school must be able to provide you with a full-time (minimum of 30 hours) 15-month contract.
You must be employed prior to the start date of your apprenticeship programme. Your employer will complete an employer declaration form to confirm your employment start date, this must be before you start your apprenticeship. If you are already employed by your school, the employment start date will be the date of when your employment commenced with your school.
